Sand blasting and metallization of surface

When the surface is blasted, the undesirable fractions, such as grease, burrs, forge imperfections and other mechanical impurities are removal from the semi-product surface followed by their final treatment. The sand blasting of the part permits better coating adhesion to the surface. When we sand blast the large-sized workpieces, we use the moving sand-blasting booth with transiting profile in size of 5 x 5 x 15 meters. Since exterior parts is exposed to outdoor environment, their surface needs corrosion protection up to the C5 degree, and so it is metallized with various metal-molten wires, such as Al/Zn, Cu, Zn. The surface treated by metallization has the quality comparable to galvanizing.
